Balance tip #2 - Water Therapy

Water is such an important element yet it is commonly overlooked in our busy life, and most of us don’t drink nearly enough of it. Whether we are bathing in it or drinking it, water is essential for staying hydrated and for maintaining overall health and emotional balance.

Water represents our emotions, senses and intuition. If we are under stress, keeping our feelings bottled up, or aren’t expressing them properly its easy to become out of balance.

The month of July is ruled by the sign of Cancer which is of course a water sign. So to make sure we stay emotionally balanced (especially during times of heightened energy) its important we are drinking enough water.

I like to place crystals in my water jug and charge it under the full moon or place it under the sun for a boost of energy. My favourite crystals to use are clear quartz, rose quartz, citrine or amethyst and shungite is wonderful for overall good health. If crystals aren’t your thing, try adding slices of lemon, orange, lime, cucumber or berries to your water. Not only does it make your water taste nice, its healthy, looks good and doubles as colour therapy too.
