Just Breathe

When the pace of life gets busy and stressed its easy to get overwhelmed and out of balance. When we are tired or tense we forget about the simple things in life and what truly bring us joy. Yet, in every moment we have the choice to choose peace instead.

The quickest and easiest way to restore peace is through the breath. Most of us breathe too shallow into our chest or hold our breath when we are under pressure and this only makes it more difficult to relax. Yet when we slow and deepen our breath and breathe deep into our stomach it brings an immediate sense of relief. The mind begins to quieten, our body becomes calmer and with practice we find stillness. When we are still, our emotions and reactions are easier to control, our thoughts slow down and our physical body feels more secure.

There are many crystal for stress release and peace, some of my favourites are: Amethyst, Angelite, Angel Aura Quartz, Fluorite and Selenite. Holding or wearing these stones can be immensely helpful to restoring peace and shielding our energies from stress.
